Bolton — “It was such a great vibe. I was pleased,” said Candice Corcione, former executive director and now consultant at the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce, at the chamber’s first Business to Business Showcase since 2019.
The 14th annual Business to Business Showcase featured a location change, this time held at Georgina’s of Bolton. More than 40 vendors exhibited their goods and services to dozens of attendees, and networked with each other.
Executive Director Melissa Smith said it was great how much the business people networked with each other.
“Overall, it was fantastic,” she said. “I think we had a nice number of vendors for that establishment. I loved how everybody was in-person. They were laughing, they were joking, they were catching up. There was quite a bit of networking between the vendors. Quite a few said they made some good new connections.”
Smith also credited the location, handy to I-84, I-384 and Rt. 44, with drawing traffic to the event, as well as well-placed signs throughout Tolland County. She added that the atmosphere of the ballroom at Georgina’s added a nice touch.
“The venue was great. I love the ambiance, with the pillars and the lighting and the carpet - it’s a nice, dressy establishment, which made it visually appealing,” she said.
The event’s Platinum Sponsor was People’s United Bank, and Silver Sponsors were 360 Federal Credit Union, American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Home Instead of Northeastern CT, Rocking My SewJo, State Farm Agency – Jennifer Lamphere, and The Vascular Experts.
