Putnam girls’ basketball team working hard despite postponements

Despite an already-shortened season plagued by additional postponements, the Putnam varsity girls’ basketball team has been working hard, and racked up its second win, against Lyman Memorial High School, on Feb. 26.

Scheduled games against Wheeler have twice been postponed, but the Putnam girls won a Feb. 20 game against Griswold High School. A Feb. 22 game against Killingly was a loss for Putnam, with a final score of 44-41. Putnam was scheduled to finish the regular season with a March 15 away game against Tourtellotte.
