Putnam baseball team struggles during early season

Two losses during a double-header against Griswold on Saturday, April 24 put the Putnam varsity baseball team’s record at 1-4 for the 2021 season. The Clippers won a season-opening game against Wheeler on April 14 by a score of 15-3, but then experienced losses against St. Bernard and Plainfield, in addition to the two against Griswold. The Putnam High School varsity baseball team has four seniors on the roster this year: Jonathan Carita, Nathan Barylski, Jack Lomax and Colby Livingston.
