Woodbridge Farmstead hosting free open house
Manchester — MANCHESTER – The Manchester Historical Society presents a free open house at the Woodbridge Farmstead, 495 East Middle Turnpike, from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10.
At 12:30 p.m., Town Historian Susan Barlow will talk about the history of Manchester Green and Town Troubadour Bill Ludwig will provide vintage music. The new Visitor Center is open, with displays showing the history of the Manchester Green area.
Take a self-guided tour through the late 18th century barn. Guided tours of sections of the 1830s farmhouse will be available. Games will be set up for the children.
Parking is available off Woodbridge Street behind the barn and through the gate. Exercise caution entering and exiting the parking area. Overflow parking is also available at the nearby Senior Center.
Manchester Library hosting PJ storytime
MANCHESTER – Pajama Storytime at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays from June 30 to Aug. 4. The program will feature stories and songs for families. Call 860-645-0577 for more information.
